Introducing Maine Irish Reads – the Maine Irish Heritage Center Reading Group. Each month we discuss a book with an Irish theme by a contemporary Irish writer. The focus is on books published in the last 20 years, and we will be reading fiction and non-fiction books.
As a non-profit, the Maine Irish Heritage Center receives donations from all books purchased. Thank you for buying with us!
Books that we’ll read include:
Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan
Star of the Sea by Joseph O’Connor
Brooklyn by Colm Toibin
