Knitting across Ireland with Rachel Bingham Kessler

Visit 44Clovers.com for more details on the trip!

Join Rachel Bingham Kessler in the Library at MIHC on April 21st for an enjoyable afternoon. You’ll learn about the origins of Aran knitting and how you can join her upcoming unique knitting tour of Ireland. Homemade Irish refreshments will be served, and everyone who attends automatically earns a chance to win a one-of-a-kind hand-spun Irish door prize.

Rachel has been traveling to Ireland for 26 years to volunteer with children, attend art college, research her Irish ancestry and Ireland’s textile history. Her Grá for Ireland is strong, and she loves sharing it with others. Being a knitter, painter, and natural dyer, she keeps a studio practice at her home on Peaks Island where she lives year-round with her husband Jubal and two children, Ronan & Violet.
