For a second year in a row, the Maine Irish Heritage Center has encouraged businesses and municipal buildings across the state to fly the Irish flag or light their buildings green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. One in six Mainers are of Irish descent and the Irish are closely interwoven into the history and heritage of the state. Check out the following locations that joined us in honoring Maine’s rich Irish heritage for St. Patrick’s Day 2022!
