This St. Patrick’s Day, The Maine Irish Heritage Center worked with cities, towns, and businesses across the state to honor Maine’s Irish heritage. Roughly 1 in 6 Mainers are of Irish descent, and the state still maintains its strong Irish heritage. As the Irish flag was flown and buildings were lit green, the Irish spirit was present across the state this St. Patrick’s Day.
