MIHC Day of Caring 2025

Saturday, September 13th

9:00am-3:00pm

We are looking for:

Painters | Carpenters | Cleaners | Gardeners

The Center – originally St. Dominic’s Church – was constructed in the late 1800s, and has long served as one of Portland and Maine’s preeminent cultural centers, meeting spaces, research institutions, libraries, concert halls, wedding venues, and more.

We are hosting this Day of Caring to ensure our beloved space receives the attention it needs and deserves. With many important concerts, fundraisers, and cultural festivals on the horizon, this is the perfect chance to donate your skills, tools, and passion for just a few hours.

If you or your organization are interested in volunteering for this event, please contact us at volunteer@maineirish.com. We want to ensure your skills and expertise are put to the best use possible!

Day of Caring Project Options:
