The Maine Irish Heritage Center's Genealogy Group is the most dedicated and professional group of individuals you'll ever meet. What's more, they are all volunteers! Every Friday, they gather to help people from all walks of life get started in their family searches. Through personal donations, they purchase DNA kits to try to identify and expand the strong connections between Maine and Ireland and travel to Ireland to work with genealogists there on behalf of our members.
