Volunteer Opportunity! The Maine Irish Heritage Center is looking for volunteers to keep the center open during the summer months. We will have the official opening of the summer season on June 16th We are in the process of filling out our schedule and would love to hear from you. We would like to have you volunteer. This is a great opportunity to meet old friends, make new ones, learn some history of Portland, and share your love and excitement of the Old St. Dominic’s Church and the Maine Irish Heritage Center. No experience is necessary as we will provide training

Monday 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm (Closed Monday holidays)
Tuesdays 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm Fridays 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
(closed Saturdays of holiday weekends and for special events/weddings)
Also open by appointment
When the Portland public schools are closed for day
the MIHC library/genealogy will also be closed.
